My dear parents are both aged 74 and have been retired for some time. Life was getting a little boring for them, so I suggested they buy a computer and start learning about the Internet. They thought that was a great idea and promptly went out and purchased their very first computer - a $4,000 top of the range model! A few people popped in from time to time to give them hints and tricks on how to do some of the basics.

A year passed. As I live in another city it had been a while since I had been home. How is the Internet going I asked? My father looked at me and said, "the only thing we use it for is to play solitaire, we just find the Internet too hard".

My parents described how they found it so difficult having to search on Google and other search engines. Getting search results numbering in the tens of thousands, when all they wanted was ten! Ending up on overseas websites when all they wanted was someone local. Getting mixed up with .com, .net.nz, .co.nz, spelling web addresses wrong, entering words in the wrong boxes. Not being able to think of things to search for. It all became too hard. So they just turned off the Internet and played solitaire.

That is why I created EasyFind. A very simple and easy way to look around the New Zealand Internet without having to type Anything! Just Click Click Click Click.
